Wuhan

2013-2020

These photos are part of the series Arcadia, an ongoing project questioning how urbanscape perception changes by altering common atmospheric chromia. Indeed, the sky is a sort of diapason capable of mutating the perception of the built environment, absorbing the mutations of time, energies, and molecules.

Wuhan has been recently on everybody’s mouth, although few ones could say how the city looks. To me, that I know the city quite well, it’s hard to imagine how Wuhanese are living in this situation. It’s even harder to imagine nosy streets empty, the riverfront with no children playing, construction sites standing by.
